On 23nd June 2010 I stumbled into the world of PTC (Paid to Click) World. I signed up to some sites to see how this works. From one site to other, as I joined I come to know about innumerable sites. Google Ranking Factors

No one claims to know each and everything as how Google Rank a website or page. However with experience of ranking several domains/pages for several keywords on first page or on top position, one can list out critical factors that must be kept in mind for a higher search engine ranking. I have divided such ranking factors into three categories: Must Have, Should Have and Nice to have Ranking Factors.
Here are these Google Ranking Factors as per my experience,
Must Have Ranking Factors

1. Keyword must be in the Title of Page
2. Keyword must be in the Headings (h1, h2, h3) in the page.
3. Keyword should be in Meta Tags (Keywords and Description)
4. Variation of Keyword must be present on the same page (related words)
5. The Keyword Density (frequency of keyword) should be around 2% of total word count.
6. Contents must be of related to keyword and high quality.
7. Back Links from higher PR domains with anchor text as this Keyword.
8. Page Rank of your Home Page should be 3+. And your page’s link should be on your home page.
9. If someone finds you in google search, he/she should be satisfied with your contents. That means he/she should not search same term again on google at least within next one hour.
10. Contents must not be Duplicating or found major portion on some other website.

Should Have Ranking Factors

1. Keyword should be in URL of website
2. Keyword should be in Domain Name
3. Keyword should be in first paragraph.
4. If images are used in that page, ALT tag should contain this keyword.
5. At least 10 back links from good PR websites with this keyword as anchor text.
6. Age of Domain should be more than 1 year
7. Location and Server should be in the area where majority of your target users live. If you are targeting USA visitors, make sure your domain should be hosted in USA server.
8. Keyword should be closely related to your domain’s primary purpose.
9. Domain TLD should be .com/.net/.org.

Nice to Have Ranking Factors

1. Use Keyword in your page in all formats (bold, italic, underline, colored etc)
2. Link other pages of your site with this page based upon relevancy. Similarly place this page’s link (with keyword as anchor text) on other related pages of same site.
3. Update your website regularly
4. Get back links from sites like DMOZ and Yahoo Directory
5. Reduce Outgoing links as much as you can.

First Step
Go to www.paypal.com and register the account. Follow the following guidelines during registration process.
- Choose Account Type “Premier” (You can also upgrade to Business later on).
- When you’re about to select a country, then do not choose any Asian country. I’ll suggest you to go with Cyprus it is default selected.
-If you’re a webmaster and use to send and receive money online then, I’ll suggest to use your real name.
- Don’t include your real address in the field. You can put anything fake like House # 35, Street # 3 etc.
- Use the email address which is always active and you believe that you’ll use it forever. By the way, you’ll still be able to add another email address after registration.
Second Step
Once your account is created, don’t get excited. There are few more things still needed to be done. As you see in your account, your status is shown unverified. This is because Paypal wants accounts to be verified using Bank accounts or Credit Cards numbers. You can not verify it using your Pakistani bank account. I don’t know about the Pakistani Credit Cards, if they work with Paypal or not but it is a strong suggestion not to use it because Paypal will be able to track you with it.
Third Step
This step will look quite difficult to some of my fellows but no need to worry. Once your account is ready, start sending and receiving money. As we’re using illegal Paypal account, therefore, we’ve illegal ways of verifying it. But yo can easily use unverified account upto a limit.The most popular way of verifying Paypal account is using Virtual Credit Card (VCC). I verified my Paypal account with VCC. You can find VCC’s on making money forums. Make sure you find a seller who will not scam you. Google for VCC as well.
VCC usually costs $5-$15. Don’t pay anyone for more than this. Just follow the seller instructions carefully. VCC normally works for 3 days. So make sure you respond quickly to the seller.

Fourth Step
Once your account is verified, you’re free to use worldwide without any limitations. But still there are few things to remember;
- Never contact Paypal about your account

- Never tell the buyer that your account is illegal. He/she can report about your account to Paypal.

Set your rate. On ODesk, you can set your hourly wage. Keep in mind that ODesk takes a percentage of it, so be sure to figure that in. It's always best to start low--remember, you are competing with a lot of people from India that will work for next to nothing, but you will want to emphasize that you are from the US and show that you are worth what they pay. Start cheap to get started--trust me. If you start your pay too high and you don't have any past experience, it will be a while before you get your first job.

Apply for jobs. Search through their job listings for your area of interest. Read the descriptions, see the specifications they require, and if you're interested, apply. It will bring you to a page where you send a cover letter with your resume / profile page. This is very important--it is the letter they will first see and decide whether they want to look at your profile page or not. Make it intriguing, but don't sound desperate. Also, be sure to be polite and grammatically correct.

Just like eBay, ODesk has a feedback system. Feedback is important on this site--get it and get it good! I have over 10 positive marks on my account, and I get numerous requests for work because of my "impressive" feedback and history on ODesk. So it will help you in the longrun.

Tips and Tricks
* Before getting any of your payments, you will need to fill out and send a 1099 form. Yes, they track taxes on your payments, so be sure to claim them on your tax form!
* Be available 24/7. I can't tell you how many times I have applied for a job and three minutes later get an IM from the poster wanting to ask some questions and have me start right away. This is crucial, especially when you are trying to get your first position.
* I have been very profitable doing this. Take your time, do it right, and reap the benefits!
* Start low. There are too many people in the forums on their site complaining about not getting a job, but they have incomplete profile pages, horrid resumes, and was $30 an hour for what they do. Start low, get the experience, and then raise your price--you'll know what you're worth when you start getting job invitations.

Alertpay – Paypal Alternative for Pakistanis

I’ve been using Paypal account for more than 4 years.  It is really surprising that Paypal works in India but no realistic support for Pakistan which is creating problems for the Pakistani traders online. Most of the online buying and selling websites accept Paypal or Credit Card. Credit Card is not affordable by everyone in Pakistan and Paypal doesn’t have the service for us.
I’ve illegal account with Paypal which I use for online money transactions.  It is quite risky because Paypal can block my account at any time. I verified my account with Virtual Credit Card (VCC). I don’t recommend my country fellows to use Paypal because finally, Pakistanis got the alternative of Paypal.
Alertpay.com, the latest money processor company, is the new alternative of Paypal. Alertpay do support Pakistan. Moreover, verification in Alertpay doesn`t need any Credit Card, Bank Account etc. You just need to send them some documents through email for the verification of your identity and your address and you’ll be verified in no time.
I came to know about Alertpay when I started to join PTCs. I sent them the scan copies of my CNIC and my phone bill and I became verified in just 12 days.
